Still in the hospital

Doesn't look like our L will come home before her transplant on Tuesday.  Seems as if she'll be transferred via ambulance on Monday to where she'll have her transplant.

We were all set to come home today, and then that picky ammonia went back up.  So to be safe, we are keeping her in the hospital so she can be stabilized and STAY stable for surgery.

Just like that, rug pulled out from under us.  I'm really trying to stay positive, but I'm feeling like debbie downer right now.  Feeling like this disease has robbed us of so much.

All I can say is, maybe we're getting a whole lot of bad luck right now because better things are coming...that better be it!

  6. I have been reading your blog for awhile now and I want you to know that while I don't know you, I'll be praying for your family today and I hope everything goes smoothly and that this is the only holiday you won't get to fully enjoy at home with your family.
