L's surgery was the beginning of November and we stayed for 8 nights. It was a very traumatic hospitalization for her (and us) and we are just starting to feel like things are returning to normal again. As a result of the surgery, we've had many lab and clinic days, and we just had a short (in and out same day) admission to get the final tube removed from her liver. If her labs look good this week, we will begin to taper her labs a bit to space them out.
L has been tremendously happy and active at home. She has been such a three-year-old. So sweet, super naughty, and full of exhausting energy.
We have been busy getting ready to host Christmas. It truly is a magical time of year and even more so with a child. It seems like this is the first year that L gets the concept of Christmas.
More specific updates and stories to come. But I wanted to give you all just a quick snippet of what we've been up to.
And of course, I can never leave you without a picture.

Congrats on finishing classes (especially with a hospital stay towards the end!).
