This post is dedicated to my soon-to-be hubby on our 3 year anniversary. We went to Pre-Cana on Saturday and it wasn't too bad. Some of it was a little gross, but some of it was interesting. After leaving there, we came home and got ready and went to dinner to celebrate. We had a fantastic server, delicious food, and a wonderfully romantic time together. Our reservation was at 8:45 and we left the restaurant at 11:15 - yeah did I mention it was a long and romantic evening?!
We had some yummy wine and very cute conversations. We finished the meal with chocolate souffles and champagne.
I just about welled up when Ian said to me "I can't believe it's been three years. It really doesn't seem like it. In all of my past relationships, I've gotten so bored. Things just feel so different with you - that's why I can't believe it's already been 3 years." Awww - I love this man:)
They also had on the table the following card:
On the card, it says that Monsieur Francois would like you to add what you think should be added to his profile picture (the one you see above) - add a mustache, hair, eyebrows - whatever you think would be good. The winner receives a free dinner for two. So I gave Ian directions (because I'm not so great at drawing) and he went to work and this is what we came up with:
We were quite amused/impressed with what we came up with. Not sure if it's quite what they'll want to pick for the winner haha.
Right before our souffles came out (which were amazingly flavorful and delicious), the restaurant surprised us with this:
I LOVE this restaurant. I highly recommend going there for a special dinner.
Yesterday, we got one of our wedding projects (that we had to make) off of our to-do list. Yay!

ReplyDeleteOn the day of our wedding, The Mr gave me a card that said, "Congratulations!" on the outside and on the inside was a note congratulating me for marrying him. Haha!
