Trish and Chris Tie the Knot!

This weekend was a busy one. Friday night, Ian and I had a date night at Pazo. It was exactly what we needed. It had been awhile since we'd had a long, romantic meal just to talk over. We had only been there once before, and I had gotten some stomach bug shortly after sitting down. I am happy to say that it was a much better experience this time! This restaurant has good food, a fantastic atmosphere for couples and for groups, and is pretty fairly priced.

Saturday, we started off the day by getting coffee and bagels from Panera. I can't tell you how excited we were to have a Panera open near us. Not that we're that obsessed with it, but we don't have a true bagel shop closeby. So Panera it is!

Then, we both got dressed up and headed back to the Rockville/Chevy Chase area for Trish and Chris's wedding. Trish and I have been friends since we were 2. We've never gone to school together, and have totally separate groups of friends. We met because we grew up in the same neighborhood together. Somehow though, through all the different paths we've taken throughout our lives, we've managed to stay in each other's lives for all of it. And oddly enough, somehow we've had very similar experiences. She got engaged just 1 week after Ian and I. We got engaged the same year, and married the same year.

Her wedding was absolutely beautiful and she made a gorgeous bride. The ceremony was at 2 and the reception started at 3:30. We left at 9:15pm and the party was still rocking. This is probably due to her enormously large and infamously loud family! Congrats you two!

Sunday was spent...doing work. How boring! Well, except for watching the Redskins beat the Browns! How was your weekend?

I will post some pictures tomorrow!
