I wouldn't mind if she cried when I left, but to cry for 2.5 hours was really upsetting to hear. So glad Alexa adjusted and hopefully Luca will do just the same :)Katehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00792827926662946519noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5671950453367779439.post-26737591420442182342013-09-03T23:01:54.275-04:002013-09-03T23:01:54.275-04:00Thanks, Liz!Thanks, Liz!Katehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00792827926662946519noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5671950453367779439.post-85118530667031527762013-09-03T20:07:04.112-04:002013-09-03T20:07:04.112-04:00Oh Katie, that is so hard but she will definitely ...Oh Katie, that is so hard but she will definitely adjust. You all have been so unbelievably close and through so much without any time apart. It is a normal transition but that doesn't mean it will be easy. Give it time and be strong for her. She will be OK. I know it is a very hard thing for you but all will be OK in the long run. The next day might be harder so be ready. Perhaps you stay a little bit with her to get her used to it. Discuss with the teachers and get their input. But it will get better, I am sure of it. Alexa would cry for about 2 months when I dropped her off in the morning, but after the first week, she stopped by the time I was out the door. The first week is the roughest. (or it was with Alexa)
Plenty of hugs for mommy and daddy! and Big hug and Kiss from Alexa to Luca!Shannahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15095338425028359914noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5671950453367779439.post-52572244206135740092013-09-03T12:57:47.832-04:002013-09-03T12:57:47.832-04:00Poor baby girl. :( I can't imagine how hard th...Poor baby girl. :( I can't imagine how hard that must be, knowing she was so sad the whole time. But, from what I hear, it does get better. She'll warm up eventually.

Lizhttp://butwilltherebecake.comnoreply@blogger.com
