Do you recommend one over another, or is it trial and error?
With DD, who I bf for a year, I couldn't get one drop out with either a manual, non-electric pump or by manually manipulating trying to get milk out, but she was definitely feeding and grew well!Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14993973346711466704noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5671950453367779439.post-78007300683645166382010-12-05T11:54:22.039-05:002010-12-05T11:54:22.039-05:00I think that's awesome and wonderful!!I think that's awesome and wonderful!!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5671950453367779439.post-2738046301556238742010-12-03T12:12:51.806-05:002010-12-03T12:12:51.806-05:00OHMIGOSH!! If I had that much breastmilk stored I'd show it off too! I also call it liquid gold!

On a serious note, pumping is so tough, so I give you major props for doing it so diligently. L is so blessed to have a mother who is so giving of herself and who will do anything, anything, to make her little life better.Cristinahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13117714569632006312noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5671950453367779439.post-52947708934677333742010-12-03T11:02:24.067-05:002010-12-03T11:02:24.067-05:00Hahaha you weren't kidding!! I still don't produce enough, but I pump so that my little man gets some of the liquid gold:) You really are doing a good thing for her by feeding her breastmilk to keep her as healthy as possible.Angiehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08143579466018540371noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5671950453367779439.post-21544437308708919262010-12-02T15:27:30.144-05:002010-12-02T15:27:30.144-05:00Ditto to both of the above comments!
Do you guys...Ditto to both of the above comments!

Do you guys have room (in a garage or something) for a stand-alone freezer? If we had a place for it, I would've gotten one for my freezer stash, which was only a fraction of your awesomeness!Nanettehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15378339600081931938noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5671950453367779439.post-69684640368981001112010-12-02T10:26:20.214-05:002010-12-02T10:26:20.214-05:00That is so awesome (not the pain, etc. part, but t...That is so awesome (not the pain, etc. part, but the quantity part). Apparently you're supposed to go for at least the first year of life. And I feel like I've read that it is quite common for other countries to provide breastmilk for up to 2 years.

I just hope my body is up to the task!Kimhttp://charmcitykim.wordpress.comnoreply@blogger.com
